I first saw a Woman's Journal Publication last summer at the Jersey shore. It was called “Atlantic County Woman”. I was so impressed with the quality of the concept, content and style, that I researched it further. I found that Atlantic County Woman was part of a syndicated chain of national women's journal publications. I discovered that this chain had been in business for over 30 years and had developed a concept that was proven effective in business promotion as well as educating women about what is available to them in their own communities. This format also gives women valuable information needed about health, finance, relationships, travel, beauty, home and garden etc. I spoke to other publishers throughout the county who told me that their business was profitable and their publications were very popular. Businesses who advertised in their journals were getting results. I saw testimonials that were written by business who spoke of the great results they obtained and I spoke with many of them to verify. WOW! This looked like a WIN-WIN situation for everyone! SO......I invested in buying the licensing rights to bring the Woman's Journal to the Lehigh Valley. This wasn't easy for me since I am a single parent, with limited funds, but I did it because I believe in this concept wholeheartedly. I believe that since our first issue in February 2009 we are making a difference in the lives of women in the area. I believe that we are a wonderful vehicle to promote area businesses. We look forward to expanding in Northampton County and Berks County. To all of you who have called and e mailed expressing compliments about the Lehigh Valley Woman's Journal and to all who have advertised, are advertising and WILL advertise with us, I express my deepest thanks. Together we will promote business and provide a wonderful resource journal for women that will enrich their lives and the lives of their families!
